Mind
Player-supported charity Mind is committed to making sure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem can access the support they need
Since 1946, Mind has been committed to making sure that everyone experiencing a mental health problem can access the support they need and is treated with the respect they deserve. As the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, its work is critical in responding to the mental health crisis that has worsened due to the pandemic and the continuing cost of living crisis.
Mind is a federated charity, with more than 100 local Minds delivering mental health services in local communities. Through public campaigns, influencing decision makers and the services local Minds deliver, Mind has touched millions of lives.
Mind makes a difference by:
-
Offering help whenever its needed through its information, advice and local services.
-
Bringing together an unstoppable network of individuals and communities to create a world where people can thrive in mentally healthy lives.
-
Raising awareness of mental health problems, speaking out when things aren't right and demanding mental health support that respects our rights and keeps us safe, regardless of our background.
-
Focusing on the people disproportionately affected by mental health issues: people from racialised communities, young people, and people living in poverty.
